Collar Policy:
For your dog's safety, we only allow
KeepSafe Break-A-Way collars to be worn while at
Bark 'N Lounge. If you don't have a KeepSafe
Break-A-Way collar, you can purchase one at Bark 'N
Lounge or your dog can be collar-free. If your dog
is wearing any other type of collar, it will be removed.
This is for the safety of your dog. The
Break-A-Way collar has a safety feature that will
"release" when it is pulled or tightened, ultimately
releasing your dog from his or her collar to ensure
there is no risk for accidental injury or collar
strangulation. Click
here to read more.
Personal Belongings:
We will provide bedding, bowls, and toys, but you
may bring your pet's bedding and toys as long as they
are labeled with your last name. Rawhides are not allowed for your dog's safety.
We do our best to insure belongings are returned, but we cannot guarantee
items will not be lost or destroyed.
Food and Medication:
We feed YOUR food to reduce tummy upset. Your pets food and medications must be labeled with your pets first and last name along with
dosage and instructions. If your pet
runs out of food during their stay, there will be a
$2.00 charge per day per pet.
Illness:
If
your pet becomes ill while under our care, they will be
separated from the other pets to prevent illness from
spreading. You will be contacted and we will seek
veterinary care as needed.
Holidays: Our
lobby and our daycare will be closed in observation of
the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day,
Christmas Day, and New Years Day. We will close at
noon on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. There is a $10
surcharge per day and per pet on the above listed
holidays.
Cancelation Policy

may be required as follows:
Peak Season or Holiday

cancelation of any dates
reserved. Failure to
cancel 48 hours in advance may
result in a $50 fee.
Daycare Cancelation Policy: There is no
penalty for canceling daycare, but a phone call is
appreciated. If frequent
cancelations occur, fees may
apply.
Leash Policy:
All dogs
must be on leash at drop off and
pick up. This is for the
safety of your pets.
Group Play
Behavior: Inappropriate behavior could result
in loss of group play privileges. Inappropriate behavior
includes, but is not limited to, bullying, growling, biting,
fighting, or excessive barking and whining that may
indicate stress or anxiety.
Breed Restrictions: All breeds are welcome to stay
at Bark N Lounge, but we will not allow group play for
dogs that have Pit Bull or Staffordshire Terrier in
their breeding. This is for the safety of all our
guests based on past experience and statistics of the
breed. As quoted from
Pitbull
Rescue Central, Pit bulls may not start a fight,
but they will finish it. It is a fact that the
majority of pit bulls will, at some point in their
lives, exhibit some degree of dog-on-dog aggression.
This type of animal aggression is completely separate
from human-aggression; a well-socialized pit bull is
very good-natured with people. Yet, chances are that a
"normal" pit bull will not share his affection with
other animals. We cannot
predict when or where it will happen and we can’t love,
train or socialize it out of the dog."
